Itinerary
DAY 01 - SANDAKAN AIRPORT / SELINGAN TURTLE ISLAND (L,D)
From Sandakan airport you will be transferred to a jetty to board a boat to Selingan Turtle Island. The boat ride is about 1 hour. Upon arrival, register at the reception and check into a chalet.  You will be at your own leisure. After dinner, we will wait for the Park Ranger to give us a signal for turtle watching. You will observe the turtle laying eggs process until the nest is covered. The rangers will tag the turtles for record purposes. Then, the eggs will be transferred to the hatchery. If there turtles hatchlings, you will get to see the release of hatchlings to the sea. No camera is allowed to capture the whole process to avoid distraction to the turtle. Overnight at SELINGAN CHALET

DAY 02 - SELINGAN / GOMANTONG / SUKAU (B,L, D)
We will depart Selingan Island after breakfast. We will make a stop at Gomantong cave home to millions bats and swiftlets before we proceed to Sukau. The birds’ nest is an edible Chinese delicacy. In the late evening, we will take a nice boat ride along the Kinabatangan River, which is also Sabah’s longest river. This is the best time to spot for proboscis monkeys, Macaques and sometimes wild orang utans. Birds are enormous too in this wetlands, if you are lucky, hornbills, eagles, egrets, kingfishers and Oriental Darters are among other that can be spotted. Overnight at RIVER LODGE

DAY 03 - SUKAU / SEPILOK / CITY TOUR / AIRPORT (B,L)
After breakfast, depart Sukau and proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, the world’s largest rehabilitation centre. Experience a close encounter with the “Wildman of Borneo”. These Orang Utans were once orphans and the centre reformed their skills to survive in the wild again. There is a platform for visitors to view the rangers feeding the Orang Utans. A video on the centre and the orang utan rehabilitation programme is shown at the visitor’s reception centre. After lunch, we continue with a city tour of Sandakan. The tour includes a visit to a Malay fishing village and Chinese Buddhist Temple situated above a 300 meters hills that oversee panoramic view of Sandakan Bay. Transfer to the airport for your flight.
